Privacy Policy
Short version: when you request a quote, your details go to one local business so they can contact you about your enquiry, and to nobody else. We may be paid for the introduction. We never sell your details to multiple companies.

What we collect
When you complete the quote form we collect your name, phone number, email address (optional), postcode, the type of building work you are interested in, and anything you write in the message box.
What we do with it
We use your details for one purpose: to arrange your quote. Your enquiry is passed to one independent local builder contractor who covers your area, and they contact you about your enquiry. Depending on our arrangement at the time, that business either pays us a fee for the enquiry, or rents this website and receives its enquiries directly. Either way your details go to one business only: they are not sold to multiple companies, added to marketing lists, or shared with anyone else. Once your enquiry is on its way, our part is finished.
Legal basis
Contract (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract) for handling your enquiry; legitimate interests for site security and aggregated, non-identifying site measurement.
Analytics and cookies
Site measurement is cookieless and privacy-respecting: page views are counted, individual visitors are not tracked, and no advertising cookies are set.
Retention
Enquiry details are kept for up to 24 months so that follow-ups and any disputes can be handled, then deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Email [email protected] to exercise any of these.
